• BI-Tension: Basically a twisted sling that is attached in the sensitive toe area and directly connected to the heel. The system allows a powerful kick without pushing the toes into an uncomfortable position. So better performance with less pre-tension. This means that less rubber has to be used, making the shoe lighter and more sensitive.


• Pressure-Absorbing-Fit: System is an innovative (heel) system that distributes heel tension while improving the fit at the heel. The strong tension band is interrupted behind the heel to reduce the pressure on the Achilles tendon. There it is connected to a softer rubber that acts like a "bridge" and allows full adaptation to the individual heel shape. The holes at the top of the PAF serve as indicators to see how strong the tension/support is, which is divided into 3 levels. One hole for light tension two holes for medium tension three holes for strong tension.


• S-72: The S-72 is a rubber with highest friction force, developed by SCARPA®. This soft rubber allows the material to adapt ideally to the surface and provides excellent mechanical adhesion. S-72 is equally suitable for use on rock and indoors.
