The Instinct VSR by SCARPA is a lightweight comfortable climbing shoe with Vibram® sole.


For tough sport climbs and committed bouldering moves you need ultimate confidence in your shoe - this is where the design and technology in the Instinct VS-R by SCARPA comes into its own.


Inspired by the request of many of the global athletes, in particular those competing on plastic, the new VSR by SCARPA offers the option of a softer rubber in your quiver of shoes. Same last, rands and characteristics of the legendary Instinct VS, but this version will appeal to plastic masters and those of a lighter frame, where the extra feel and sensitivity of the Vibram® XS Grip 2 compound will be best suited.

Vibram® XS Grip2 delivers measurably improved grip with adequate firmness for moderate edging, while maintaining consistent performance in all temperatures.

  • Bi-Tension: This construction allows a very sensitive shoe for all situations with a high power transmission.
