The Aquila 2.50 GRC was developed by ONZA TIRES together with some of the world's best downhill riders and is an optimal companion for your downhill, enduro and all-mountain rides.


The Aquila 2.50 GRC by ONZA TIRES has a smooth running, open center profile with perfect cornering and steering precision through high side lugs. It has been proven that races can be won on ONZA TIRE's Aquila 2.50 GRC, and ONZA athletes have won numerous World Cup victories and the UCI Overall Downhill World Cup title on it.

  • GRC Gravity Casing: The GRC casing technology is optimised to provide the rider with the best possible comfort combined with a very high level of puncture protection.

  • Rubber compound - Soft Compound 50: All ONZA tyres have a dual compound construction, i.e. they consist of two rubber compounds with different properties. This allows the tyre to be ideally developed for its particular application. The dual compound ensures best traction paired with good rolling characteristics and a long service life. Soft 50a rubber on the centre lugs provides plenty of grip and good rolling characteristics, while grippy 45a on the side lugs offers extra grip and excellent cornering hold.

  • Ultra-light GRC 120 TPI single-ply casing with 2-ply reinforcement
