• Double Injection: To provide effective cushioning and improved comfort, the sole of is bonded to the upper in a technically demanding injection process. The upper boot is placed into a specially designed mould. Various layers of PU-foam padding are then poured into it. In the process, the sole and upper are bonded together


• Support Frame: With the LOWA-Monowrap® frame, the midsole provides the very best comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995. The frame comfortably cradles the foot and supports it when the shoe wearer ventures across an uneven surface. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a Support Frame


• Flexible: Footwear labelled "Flexible" has little rigidity. This quality supports the foot’s natural rolling properties


• LOWA DynaPU®: The midsole is the heart of rolling properties and shoe cushioning. It is usually made from a foamed plastic. LOWA has exclusively developed a special polyurethane (PU) foam material that meets all cushioning, comfort and durability criteria: LOWA DynaPU®. The special feature: The material is extremely stable. It retains its stability and substance even when it is pressed together 1.000 times. As a result, the finished shoes will maintain their optimal cushioning ability even after you have walked many kilometres in them


• Padded Edging: Women’s calves begin lower than men’s do. For this reason, the outdoor footwear that LOWA makes for women is equipped with specially padded edging. This is both softer and more flexible


• Woman Last: To ensure perfect fit, the lasts used for female footwear have been specially designed with the anatomy of women’s feet in mind. The last plays a key role in the ultimate fit of a boot. Women’s feet have less volume than men’s feet. As a result, the instep height and the ball area of these lasts have been altered.


• LOWA® Multi Trac® outsole: The triangular profile design used in the sole is ideal for multifunctional outdoor uses on moderate terrain. The sole provides pleasant rolling properties, helping to prevent fatigue from setting in.
