The A.Cross+ by ABS is a lightweight touring backpack and ideal for shorter tours.


As the inventor of the avalanche airbag, ABS revolutionized winter sports in 1985. 35 years later, the product design is now completely renewed, according to the principles simple & safe - light & fast: With the A.Cross+, ABS presents for the first time a minimalist and functionally sophisticated daypack without ABS® airbag system for after-work hikers who are on the move in secured terrain.


Unlike conventional daypacks, it is equipped with an integrated safety compartment for avalanche safety equipment such as shovel, probe and first aid kit. In case of an emergency, the Emergency Flap, a simple pull system in red signal color, allows immediate access to the equipment. Another special feature is the shoulder-hip belt carrying system, which not only saves weight, but also allows a compact fit to the back with optimum weight distribution.


The A.Cross+ can be adapted to individual needs via the flexible ABS® GridLab system. This strap system can be used, for example, to attach a helmet or jacket quickly and easily. It is also possible to attach the helmet to the backpack with the specially designed HelmetGrid.
